Selling My Doll Clothes Patterns

It was a great leap for me to put my patterns up for sale but now I have made that leap it is such fun to look at where my customers are and realise that it is possible for anyone in the world with internet to buy my patterns.
My sales goal for January was 60 patterns. I sold 101.
My pattern publishing goal was 2 since I had patterns in my folder that didn't need much done to them to publish and I just squeaked in a third one. The underwear pattern went together very quickly because it only has the one option. Making and checking three or four options takes a bit more time.

If you want to make some doll clothes for a bit of fun and not spend a lot of money on patterns you will like my patterns. My instructions don't tell you how to sew but they do tell you how you can make clothes if you have only done patchwork. Things like how to gather or how to fit a collar are included as well as some friendly tips for how I go about various techniques.

Now I am working towards creating perfect samples to show off my patterns so that people with a doll clothes business will be tempted to by my patterns.

I have a presence on Etsy now but the majority of my sales come from Craftsy. I make the price a bit cheaper on Craftsy because there are no market place fees.

Most of my sales are to the US.
I had customers in all these states in January.

California
Wyoming

and New Zealand.

If you haven't joined up Craftsy yet it is well worth a look. There are lots of sewing and quilting and patchwork patterns for sale and for free as PDF instant downloads. If you want to join up please go through my affiliate banner link below rather than my shop link. I get a small commission when people sign up through my affiliate link. One reason Craftsy doesn't charge fees or commission on the pattern market place is because they do their advertising through people like me. The more people I can get to sign up with Craftsy the more likely the market place will remain free to independent designers like me.

Craftsy Happy Sewing,
